2023

responsibilities

In my career, the work I’m most proud of is the work that I was able to play a role in championing a cause I believed in, or make a positive impact on the world that reached beyond sales and ROI. I pitched to my Agency a yearly pro-bono project that could simultaneously allow us to do good and contribute for the world, build new capabilities, develop creative skillsets, encourage practice as that would lead to paid work, all while working on a tax write off that put execution behind our beliefs. I dual pitched my CEO of DesignIt and the COO of Feed A Billion to do a partnership together that could showcase our work and contribute to the cause of feeding young women around the world.

Feed A Billion (FAB) tackles food inequality by feeding hungry girls in underprivileged communities around the globe.

Challenge

Feed a Billion’s existing brand didn't efficiently capture the attention of donors or clearly communicate the potential impact of their foundation. So they were looking for a partner that good bring their brand to life.

Solution

Designit's Strategy team got to the bottom of the problem through research, interviews, and workshops. When our efforts revealed the long-term personal and cultural effects of hunger in girls we decided to focus on the end goal rather than the root problem. Our new brand framework highlights the potential impact food can have on girls' lives. With the girls at the centre, surrounded by optimism, FAB invites prospective donors into a world that everyone wants to see.

Execution

We created an uplifting brand that unlocks potential - empowering donors to support promising futures for girls around the world. FAB believes that a well-fed girl can become a world-changing woman. It all starts today, with a donation and a nourishing meal.
